New Mission in 2012 started

The preparations for European Jazz Orchestra 2012 have begun and Press and Tourmanager, Martin Røen Hansen and Artistic director Mr. Hugo Sekoranja are currently in Ukraine talking with representatives for the National Radio of Ukraine NRCU (http://www.nrcu.gov.ua/index.php?id=51) about the orchestra and the final concerts.

International Jazz with an ethnic twist

In April 2011, 17 young, beautiful and extremely talented jazz musicians are set loose in European pastures. The Finnish composer and conductor Jere Laukkanen are in charge, while letting the young talents and their instruments fill the room and the audience with energy. The room will rock, once the first note is struck and the musicians are let loose. The stage is set, the drums are heard in a distance, stars lights up the sky and hence we could as well be in Cuba, on a beach in Africa or for that matter in completely different sonorous and rhythmic climate. One thing is for certain the 17 international musicians are ready to face their audiences. They live their dream and while during that make way for their future carriers.
